Dorit Ungar Black Recognized as a 2014 Rising Star by the New York Law Journal

NEW YORK—The New York Law Journal has named Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP founding partner Dorit Ungar Black a 2014 Rising Star. An esteemed panel of judges reviewed more than 230 nominations and selected Dorit as one of 42 Rising Stars. You can read the profiles of the honorees here.

The annual Rising Stars list honors attorneys under 40 years of age who have established records of accomplishment and demonstrated that they are top contributors to the practice of law and to the New York legal community.

Dorit focuses her practice on disputes regarding commercial contracts, complicated financial instruments, business torts, commercial leases, and international construction projects. She has expertise in international arbitration, and has practiced in both civil and common law jurisdictions since 1999, including courts in New York, New Jersey, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Dorit holds a dual law degree and is a native German speaker.
