Jayme Jonat to Present at Ms. JD’s 12th Annual Women in Law Conference

New York—Holwell Shuster & Goldberg LLP partner Jayme Jonat will present at the 2020 Ms. JD Women in Law Conference, taking place March 13 in Chicago. 

Recognized as a Woman Worth Watching by Profiles in Diversity Journal, Jayme will participate in a panel titled “Overcoming Challenges to Leadership,” where she will discuss her leadership role at the firm, her experiences as a successful female leader, and the obstacles she has faced at times in her career. The panel will take place at 4:15 p.m. CT, and will include the assistant General Counsel of the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services, and a Diversity & Inclusion and Corporate Social Responsibility Program Manager from Major, Lindsey & Africa and Allegis Partners. 

At HSG, Jayme represents clients in high-stakes commercial disputes, often touching on securities- and antitrust-related issues. She has been involved in numerous large-scale litigation efforts that, in addition to their considerable monetary stakes, have tested new legal theories and affected business practices across entire industries. She also dedicates a significant amount of time to pro bono work, and currently represents female pilots and flight attendants in two first of their kind lawsuits against Frontier Airlines for its systemic failure to accommodate pregnant and breastfeeding employees.
