Holwell Shuster & Goldberg Named Law Firm of the Quarter by Immigration Justice Campaign

New York—Immigration Justice Campaign (IJC), a nationwide initiative seeking to increase access to counsel for thousands of immigrants held in detention centers who need pro bono representation, has honored Holwell Shuster & Goldberg as its Law Firm of the Quarter for our dedication of time and talents in the fight to support detained immigrants.

At HSG, our lawyers have a long history of providing pro bono representation in matters ranging from class-wide civil rights litigation to habeas corpus petitions on behalf of indigent plaintiffs, including high-stakes commercial, immigration, and domestic relations matters. We are proud to partner with IJC to help provide much needed immigration relief, most recently in the representation of a Central American man who faced threats of violence, imprisonment, and death. Through HSG’s assistance, the man and his son were reunited and released from detention, allowing them to continue their pursuit of asylum in the U.S.
