In an article for The National Law Journal, HSG counsel Karen Sebaski presents an overview of the AI landscape through state and local laws, discussing legal and ethical challenges with bias and diversity in recruiting, privacy and compliance concerns, and opportunities for federal oversight.

In the article, Karen notes that “although the federal government has not yet passed comprehensive legislation specifically governing AI technology, a patchwork of state and local laws to address such challenges have started to develop.”
