HSG Secures Second-Round Win for Former Governor Cuomo in Constitutional Challenge

New York—In a monumental second-round win on behalf of former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, on May 9, the Appellate Division, Third Department unanimously declared the state’s Commission on Ethics and Lobbying in Government unconstitutional, affirming a previous New York Supreme Court trial ruling issued in September 2023. Partner Gregory Dubinsky led the HSG team representing Governor Cuomo in the win and argued the case in both the Third Department and in New York Supreme Court.
