Seven HSG Partners Named to Lawdragon's 2025 Leading Antitrust Lawyers List
New York – Seven HSG partners were named to the first-ever Lawdragon 500 Leading Antitrust & Global Competition Lawyers guide: Scott Danner, Gregory Dubinsky, Jayme Jonat, Blair Kaminsky, Demian Ordway, Michael Shuster, and Priyanka Timblo.
HSG lawyers regularly represent clients in high-stakes antitrust litigation and trials, on both the plaintiff and defense side. This year, HSG will serve as lead trial counsel for the payment network Visa in a hotly-anticipated antitrust trial against six major retailers—Target, TJX, Macy’s, Marathon, Circle K, and The Gap—who have brought antitrust claims challenging the rules at the heart of the modern-day payment network system. HSG is also lead counsel in a major antitrust class action against Advocate Aurora, a Wisconsin-based hospital network. The suit charges that the healthcare system has used its monopoly to overcharge for medical services. The firm previously represented Valassis Communications, a MacAndrews & Forbes company, in a jury trial against News Corp. involving monopolization claims in the valuable market for in-store promotions. The case settled favorably during jury deliberations after a three-week trial.
The list is based on Lawdragon’s process of combining nominations with journalistic research into the lawyers and firms leading the way in antitrust and competition.
