Alex Hyken
Overview
Alex Hyken maintains a broad commercial litigation practice. Before joining Holwell Shuster & Goldberg, she served as a clerk to Judge Ramón E. Reyes of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York.
While at Brooklyn Law School, Alex interned with the public interest organizations Access Justice Brooklyn and Advocates for Justice, as well as with the school’s Safe Harbor Clinic and Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She served as the Executive Notes Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, was an Edward V. Sparer Public Interest Fellow, and received the New York State Bar Association President’s Pro Bono Service Award.
Before law school, Alex worked in the entertainment industry in New York City.
