Brent Bomkamp
Overview
Brent Bomkamp represents corporations and individuals in a wide range of commercial litigation matters, with particular experience in securities and antitrust issues.
Before joining Holwell Shuster & Goldberg, Brent advised clients in industries including technology, entertainment, and sports on high-profile antitrust and securities matters at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. There, he was part of the team that successfully represented Epic Games in its highly publicized antitrust case against Google.
While in law school, Brent interned with the Honorable Richard J. Sullivan of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit and with the Honorable P. Kevin Castel of the Southern District of New York.

- Media and entertainment company in litigation against a competitor seeking to block the formation of a joint venture under Section 7 of the Clayton Act.
- Technology startup in an appeal of a district court’s dismissal of a complaint brought under the Securities Act of 1933, which a panel of the Sixth Circuit unanimously affirmed.
- Entertainment company in a trial victory against a large technology company in landmark antitrust litigation under Sections 1 and 2 of the Sherman Act.
- Chemical company in antitrust litigation against the Federal Trade Commission and 12 state attorneys general, and in related litigation brought by numerous private plaintiffs.
- Biotechnology company in a successful trial defense against the Federal Trade Commission.
