Brett Donaldson

Overview

Brett Donaldson advises corporations and individuals on a wide range of litigation matters, including intellectual property disputes. He has tried matters before the Federal Trade Commission and International Trade Commission in addition to his extensive experience in federal courts.

That experience includes two federal clerkships: for Judge Gerard E. Lynch of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and Judge Denise Cote of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. Before joining Holwell Shuster & Goldberg, Brett practiced as an associate with Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP.

While attending Columbia Law School, he served as a judicial extern to Judge Jesse M. Furman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and as a legal intern for the New York City Gay and Lesbian Anti-Violence Project in New York. Before embarking on his legal career, Brett spent time as a working actor and as the house manager of the renowned Geffen Theater in Los Angeles.
