Jessica Marder-Spiro
Overview
Jessica Marder-Spiro maintains a broad commercial litigation practice, counseling clients on both commercial and civil matters.
Prior to joining Holwell Shuster & Goldberg, Jessica was a law clerk to the Honorable Analisa Torres of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and to the Honorable Amalya L. Kearse of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
While at Columbia Law School, Jessica was an essays & reviews editor for the Columbia Law Review, which published her note on Bivens medical care claims brought by people detained pretrial. During law school, she served as a legal extern in the Civil Rights Bureau of the New York State Office of the Attorney General, and as a judicial intern in the Office of Pro Se Litigation of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
